Rico Fata saves Biel's skin

Biel's Rico Fata had two goals and two assists in a 5-1 Game 7 victory over Lausanne. With the series win, Biel defended their spot in the Swiss NLA against the champs from the NLB but it wasn't easy. In all, they had to play a 7-game series against Langnau then a 6-game round with Ambri before finally having to contend with a Lausanne team that had finished first overall in the NLB. The last series was marked by the firing of coach, Heinz Ehlers, after Biel lost the opening two games. With manager Kevin Schläpfer at the helm, the team miraculously turned it around and won 4 of the next 5 matches.
