Ratchuk makes room for Holland in Dusseldorf

Dusseldorf has picked up defenceman Jason Holland from the Ingolstadt Panthers for the next couple of seasons. The big Canadian with a German passport has spent all four of his years since coming to Europe in the Bavarian city. With 25 points in 51 games he was tied for second in scoring among defencemen on the team. On the other side of the coin, Dusseldorf has lost the services of American blueliner Peter Ratchuk. The two sides were unable to come to an agreement on a new deal.
