Peiting lives to fight another day

Peiting spoiled Kaufbeuren's celebration plans by winning 4-3 on home ice to extend their Oberliga South final series. A four-goal second period outburst was the difference as Peiting withstood a third period comeback by the Jokers to hang on for the victory. Leading scorer Canadian Simon Barg contributed three assists. The series resumes on Friday in Kaufbeuren who can seal their promotion to the Bundesliga with a win in front of their home fans.
