Biel losing their grip on NLA berth

The wheels are falling off in Biel as they struggle to hang on to their spot in the Swiss NLA. The club finished last overall in their first season in the top league and lost both playout series against NLA opponents. Now they trail Lausanne 2-1 in games and have fired their coach, Heinz Ehlers. Upon returning to Biel after their Game 2 loss, their bus was swarmed by angry fans who had to be dispersed by police with tear gas.
