Ben Eaves sets new playoff points mark in Finland

American Ben Eaves has broken the record for total playoff points in a season despite the fact that his team, the Espoo Blues failed to make it through to the finals. Oulun Kärpät won the final two games to win the SM Liiga semifinals series and will now face Jyväskylä who finished the regular season number 1 overall. Jyväskylä played with just one import this season, Czech Jiri Bicek, but have had none in their line-up in the play-offs.
