Laliberte extends Mannheim's woes

Former BU Terrier John Laliberte scored twice and Norm Milley had a couple of helpers as visiting Wolfsburg upset slumping Mannheim 4-1 extending their losing streak to five games.


Bob Wren had a goal and two assists and Bruno St. Jacques a goal and an assist as Ingolstadt narrowly defeated Hamburg.
Jeff Friesen notched a pair of goals as Berlin downed a stubborn Straubing squad 3-1.
In Kassel, Mike Card scored the winner on a powerplay and Pierre-Luc Sleigher added a single as the Huskies edged Augsburg 2-1. Adam Hauser made 36 saves to get the win.
Hannover got its winning goal from Matt Dzeiduszycki as the host Scorpions got by Iserlohn 3-2. Travis Scott was solid in goal turning aside 30 shots.
Scott Langkow backstopped Krefeld's 4-2 comeback win in Frankfurt with 30 saves.
