Jamie Storr retires from Dusseldorf
Despite having a valid contract for next season, Canadian goalie Jamie Storr has decided for personal reasons to call it a career. The move came as a shock to Dusseldorf manager Lance Nethery, not to mention the team's fans, but the club has accepted the decision and will now try to find an adequate replacement. With backup Jochen Reimer signing in Wolfsburg, the Metro Stars now need to come up with two netminders.
