Karl Stewart finally decides for Straubing

After taking a year to think about it, Karl Stewart of the Rochester Americans has finally succumbed to the overtures made by the Straubing Tigers of the DEL. The 25-year-old winger was courted already last summer by the German team but decided to give the NHL another shot. Stewart recorded 25 points in 68 points for Rochester in his fifth AHL season.
