Bremerhaven snaps up two ECHLers

The Fischtown Penguins of the German Bundesliga are not wasting any time putting their team together for next season. The club announced the signing of winger Pierre-Luc O'Brien from the South Carolina Stingrays and center Alexandre Parent from the Mississippi Seawolves. O'Brien and Parent were teammates at Sacred Heart University from 2004-07. The 176 cm and 82 kg O'Brien had 61 points in 67 games in his second ECHL season and even had a 5-game sniff in the AHL. The 25-year-old Parent put up 46 points in 68 games in his first pro season.
