Zug's Harrison suspended for hit on Bärtschi

Jay Harrison from EV Zug was suspended for an elbow to the head of Patrik Bärtschi from SC Bern in a game that was won by Zug 3-2. Harrison was given a match penalty on the play while the injured Bärtschi lay several minutes on the ice. He is not expected to play again in the series. Harrison will be suspended for the next game in Zug on Monday and will probably face disciplinary action resulting in a longer suspension. Simon Gamache of Bern will also miss the game on Monday as a result of his second game misconduct.
