Mark Ardelan returns to Iserlohn for another year

Offensive defenceman Mark Ardelan of the Iserlohn Roosters has decided to remain in Iserlohn next season, signing a new one-year deal. Management was especially pleased with the decision as Ardelan was a key player on the blueline for the team which finished a disappointing 11th overall and out of the play-off picture this season. The Regina native came to Iserlohn mid-season from Rauman Lukko of the Finnish SM-Liiga. It was his first season in Europe after four seasons in the minors in North America.
