Hamburg dumps three imports

After bowing out in the quarterfinals against Eisbären Berlin, the Hamburg Freezers have already started working on their roster for next season by making room for 3 new imports. Not returning to the squad for 2009-10 are Brad Smyth, Justin Morrison and Rob McVicar. Smyth managed only 15 points in 25 games this season, his third with the Freezers. Morrison tallied just 9 points in 24 tilts and McVicar saw no action at all after transfering in from bankrupt Totempo of the Danish AL Bank Liga. Veteran German-Canadian defenceman Rob Leask was also released.
