Bellissimo prefers Ingolstadt

Turning down offers from other DEL teams, forward Vince Bellissimo will return after a one year absence to the Ingolstadt Panthers of the DEL. Back in 2007-08, he scored 31 goals but decided to try his luck in Finland in this past season. Things didn't quite go the way he expected in Kuopio so he hooked up with his former coach, Ron Kennedy in Innsbruck. Bellissimo chalked up 41 points in 35 games. Kennedy unfortunately had to step aside for medical reasons shortly before the end of the season and then the Innsbruck club decided for financial reasons to pull out of Austria's EBEL starting next fall.
