Dufresne gives Crimmitschau upset win


Sylvain Dufresne sank the winning shootout shot giving Crimmitschau a surprising 6-5 victory in Ravensburg. Andy Contois paced the attack with two goals while Kevin Young had a goal and an assist for the winners. 
Mike Wehrstedt tied the game at 4-4 with seven minutes remaining sending the game to overtime where Kaufbeuren scored to upset favored Schwenningen 5-4. Brock Hooton had scored the go ahead marker for the Wild Wings several minutes earlier.
In Hannover, Brad Self and Nicolas Dumoulin had single tallies and Andrew McPherson helped out with three assists as Riessersee prevailed over the Indians 5-2.
Greg Schmidt notched a pair of goals and Justin Kelly a pair of assists as Bietigheim disposed of thier visitors from Landshut 3-0.
Winnipeg native Neville Rautert lead the way for Munich with a goal and three assists as they handily defeated Lausitz 6-2. Defenseman Dave Ried also had a solid game registering one goal and two assists.
